H&M Sweden Opens New South Florida Store in West Palm Beach

H&M Sweden recently opened it's first South Florida store in West Palm Beach and Miami could be next.

The arrival is a milestone for many of the cult-like fans of the Swedish fashion retailer and it also marks the beginning of what is likely to be a South Florida rollout for H&M.
''We would love to be in Miami in the near future,'' said an H&M spokesperson. ''We consider South Florida as an ideal regional market for our brand.''

That was evident by the almost 1,000 people waiting in line at The Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens at noon last Friday when H&M began escorting customers into the two-level, 20,000-square-foot store.

H&M Sweden has approximately 2,200 stores in 37 different countries including over 200 U.S. stores of which 3 are located in Florida (Orlando, Sanford and West Palm Beach). H&M has also been scouting for potential locations in Miami-Dade County with the main focus on Miami Beach, Aventura Mall and Dadeland Mall.
